Performed thorough assessments and safely administered medications via all routes. Performed dressing changes as well as urinary catheter insertions, checked blood sugars, and started IV’s.

Health Related Work History

·     March 2010- Present ER Tech (EMT) at Tri City Medical Center. Experience includes: making and applying splints, performing vital signs and 12 lead ECG’s, CPR, patient transports, daily equipment checks, educating patients, and assisting RN’s, PA’s, and MD’s with procedures.

·         April 2007- March 2009 Private residence care giver to a 97 year old man with dementia. Duties included meal preparation and feeding, bathing and grooming, daily activities, cleaning, laundry, and companionship.

·         March 2005-October 2005 Private residence care giver and personal swimmer to a 46 year old woman with cerebral palsy. Duties included meal preparation and feeding, bathing and grooming, restroom aide, physical therapy activities, cleaning, and computer assistance for her at-home business. I demonstrated flexibility by working both AM and PM shifts, did over-night stays as needed, assisted as a personal swimmer/ life guard, and gained a great deal of experience in working with electric wheel chairs and mechanical lift equipment.

·        Administrative assistant. Good and Roberts. October 2009 to November 2009. Tasks included filing, data entry, scanning and indexing documents as the company switched to a paperless system.

·         Assistant manager. Dairy Queen. May 2006 to September 2007. Tasks included inventory counts and placing supply orders, putting away new shipments, payroll, creating work schedules, opening and closing the store, cashier work, cake artisan, and being in charge of the company safe.

·         Cashier/ barista. Jamba Juice. September 2005- May 2006. Tasks included cashier work, cleaning, inventory, and barista work with excellent customer service.
